Shift during Quest program hours (actual assignment can be flexible)
Monday - Friday from 7:30am - 5:30pm
June 12 - August 23
Starting wage range:
starting at $18.50/hour
Primary Objective of Positions:
To plan, implement, and supervise theme-based summer day camp program for middle school youth. To ensure a safe and fun atmosphere for all participants.
Job Responsibilities:
- Help plan enriching curriculum and activities for Quest summer programming.
- Plan and carry out age-appropriate activities consistent with goals.
- Manage classroom, outdoor activities, and field trips; supervise and provide guidance for participants. Participate in all activities, including group bike rides.
- Provide a safe, caring, fun environment for children.
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
Job Qualifications:
- B.A. or B.S. degree in education, child development, recreation, or a related field.
- Evidence of successful experience working with middle school aged students.
- Evidence of successful program leadership.
- Evidence of positive interpersonal skills; ability to relate well to children and adults.
- Ability to work under minimal supervision.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality.
