Intel's Technology Development Component Research (TD CR) delivers innovative device technologies and architectures to enable Intel's roadmap. Quantum computing has the potential to transform the industry by achieving large computational speed-ups over classical computers. Advances in quantum technologies have propelled Quantum Computing from a theoretical physics field to experimental physics and engineering.
Come join us as part of an Intel team exploring Quantum Computing hardware, specifically spin qubits in silicon. We are looking for either theorists focused on the modeling of quantum circuits / devices, or experimentalists focused on building and characterizing spin qubit devices or systems. The scope could include developing control software to automate the characterization, calibration, and control of quantum devices. You will also work with researchers across Intel to tap into the latest findings.

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.

- Candidate must be pursuing a PhD in Physics, Engineering, Chemistry, Quantum Information, or Quantum Technologies.
- 3+ years experience with the Quantum Computing or low temperature quantum device physics from either the experimental, theoretical or device modeling perspective.
