- The client’s team works on innovative new tech with the aim of making communication feel present, immersive, and real, no matter where in the world you are.
- Several of our recent initiatives are pilot projects that are being used at scale for the first time. As Quantitative Researcher, you’ll support the evaluation of these initiatives by collecting and analyzing user feedback and survey data.
- We're passionately interested in our users and strive to learn everything we can about their goals and needs, attitudes, and emotions to help define the products and experiences we create.
- The Quantitative Researcher will conduct mixed-methods research using quantitative and qualitative methodologies (e.g., surveys, interviews, usability testing), analyze data, and report findings to cross-functional stakeholders across our wider team.
- Manage survey fielding, analyze survey data, report findings.
- Plan and design UXR studies.
- Conduct mixed-methods UXR studies (e.g., usability testing, interviews), analyze data, and report findings.
- 1-3 years of work experience or relevant graduate-school research experience.
- Experience with Qualtrics or other survey fielding tools.
- Experience with SPSS, R, or other data cleaning & analysis tools.
- Basic familiarity with each of the following methods, and in-depth expertise in one or more of the following: Usability studies, Concept tests, Competitive benchmarks, Diary studies, User interviews, Field research, Behavioral science experiments etc.
- Surveys Detail-oriented and ability to work independently on a variety of tasks.
- Can prioritize time between multiple projects and be flexible by adapting to changing schedules and different projects.
- Ph.D. (completed) in Human Factors, Social Sciences, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Computer Science, Product Design, or another field.
- Strong knowledge of experimental design and statistical analysis.
- Technical aptitude, familiarity with basic graphic and video editing tools.

Education:
- M.A/M. S or Ph.D. (completed) in Psychology, Sociology, Human Factors, HCI/Computer Science, or other related fields or equivalent practical experience.
