DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Define, monitor, and report key management metrics regarding the health of an operations program. Responsible for a high-volume and high-complexity reporting and analytics book of work. Partner with senior leaders in advancing the business analysis and reporting agenda, focused on insights delivery in areas around operational efficiency, cost modeling, capacity planning, and quality enhancements. Define, design, and drive high priority strategic initiatives with senior level visibility in areas ranging from delivering business initiatives to engineering enabling capabilities. Extract insights from existing data while identifying and recommending IT enhancements to improve data quality. Develop strong partnerships with IT application owners and data management teams to align on a roadmap for continual improvement while providing support for in- flight projects. Develop effective data models and front-end applications.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as Quant Analytics, Business Intelligence Analyst, Qlik Developer, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Master's degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or related field of study plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or as Quant Analytics, Business Intelligence Analyst, Qlik Developer, or related occupation.

Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: Qlik scripting; Qlik architecture; Qlik data models; Qlik QVD creation; Qlik QMC; Qlik Sense mashups; Qlik Sense Publisher; developing business intelligence solutions using Qlik Sense; Leading and guiding a development team in the Qlik Sense domain; Utilizing Qlik Sense to analyze data and derive valuable insights; Data driven solution design; Agile development framework; Python or R; two of the following: Hadoop, Hive, or Impala; ETL; and Data integration.

Job Location: 10 S Dearborn St, Chicago, IL 60603. This position requires up to 10% domestic travel. Telecommuting permitted up to 40% of the week.
