10 Years Running Top Workplace looking for a dedicated person to join our Quality team as an Inspection Technicians to support growth in our sheet metal fabrication/welding department towards the end of Q2 2024!
Flexible 1st Shift hours, unique manufacturing work culture, fast paced and fun!

Starting pay will be assessed based on either welding or inspection/quality related experience. Willing to train those without formal Quality/Inspection experience but have hands on welding experience.

Specific/Primary Responsibilities:

  • Position primarily focused on leading visual/hands on inspection processes for welding, subcontracting amp; other sheet metal operations
  • Assist in preparing first-article, in-process, final, amp; other required inspection paperwork as needed
  • Assist in final/in process inspection for our production weld cell, amp; all fabrication work cells
  • Hands on dimensional inspection using bench/standard measuring tools as needed
  • Work with department/cells leads amp; production to ID and correct areas of non-conformance
  • Assist in maintaining calibration system/processes


Position Requirements:

  • Some prior welding or metals manufacturing experience, or experience in inspection/quality in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred.
  • Leading candidates will also have foundational blueprint reading abilities
  • Leading candidates should be able to use/read standard hand measuring equipment (tapes, calipers, height stand, gages etc.) independently
  • Must be comfortable/proficient with computers, Microsoft Office, data entry
  • High proficiency in math, problem sensitivity, amp; critical thinking
  • Ability to communicate information proactively and effectively with people in all positions
  • Team orientated mindset, and willing to do what it takes to get the job done
