General Summary
This position is responsible for the development and facilitation of Food Safety and Quality training.
Responsibilities include development and delivery of training modules, facilitation of internal and external training, and the management of Food Safety and Quality Alchemy training and COE network. Individual requires quality systems knowledge, ideally with plant experience. Knowledge of regulatory, customer, certifying bodies and our Campbell requirements will be used to perform a variety of duties including execution of processes & protocols for training.
The position will elevate current training and integrate into the electronic Quality management system. The employee will support the optimization of manufacturing Food Safety and Quality job specific training and its integration into an electronic plant floor system. The employee will also be responsible for the management and continuous improvement of the Food Safety and Quality Onboarding program. The position will support efforts to engage and create a Food Safety culture throughout corporate and Supply base functions. Employee must be able to plan and prioritize work effectively and independently. This position requires proficiency in communication, training, and improvement techniques.
Primary Responsibilities
Design and deliver training modules in Food Safety topics, Campbell requirements and changing regulatory and customer requirements
Identify and manage relationships with external training partners and facilitate training sessions
Facilitate compliance and improvement events in support of critical Quality training
Work with manufacturing quality teams to elevate and standardize trainings where appropriate
Integrate and elevate existing training within electronic Quality management system
Manage the Food Safety and Quality Alchemy network and training
Support integration of training into electronic Quality management system
Partner with appropriate HR leads in manufacturing and corporate.
Maintain and improve Food Safety and Quality onboarding program
Support development of a Food Safety culture throughout Campbell
Identify gaps and improvement opportunities in training and work with other Food safety and Quality functions to improve
Maintain awareness of changing regulatory and customer requirements with communication as needed to manage
Job Complexity
Proficient in communication and training methodology.
Ability to work with technical subject matter experts to compile accurate and complete information as needed
Proficient in gathering appropriate information from multiple cross functional sources and creating concise summaries.
Familiarity with adult learning techniques
Solid knowledge of Quality systems and related programs
Experienced judgement to determine when escalation is needed due to risk or proprietary information.
Ability to influence the right leader(s) to initiate continuous improvement projects, achieving engagement and alignment with process stakeholders.
Job Specifications (Knowledge, skills and abilities normally required for competent performance in the job)
BS Food Science Degree or related Science degree
3 or more years food industry quality plant/systems experience
Dedicated work habits, takes initiative, sets high standard
Ability to multi-task, successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously
Strong interpersonal, written, and communication skills
Proficiency in MS Outlook, Excel, Word, Sharepoint and Adobe Acrobat Writer
Experience in Alchemy, Veeva or Aveeva is a plus
Experience with cross-functional business processes
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good communication skills, both written and verbal
Approximately 20% travel
Ability to work independently on assignments
Compensation and Benefits:
The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between
$72,900-$117,300
Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
