Eastridge is hiring a Quality Technician for a leading Medical Equipment manufacturer in Phoenix, AZ!
Reporting to theQualityManager, theQualityTechnician will be responsible forquality assurance
and quality control activities per the company procedures.This position will help support the day to day execution of Quality System requirements to ensure design control and/or manufacturing compliance with ISO 13485, 21 CRF Part 820, ISO14971 and all applicable regulations.
This is a Mon-Fri, 8am to 5pm. Qualified candidates are encouraged to apply.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily:
- Follow written directions and verbal instructions
- Work independently to inspect incoming parts, perform in process part inspection, and final assembly
- inspections
- Work alongside Manufacturing and Operators on a daily basis in support of the production schedule
- Identify and support nonconformance investigations and reports.
- Assist with tracking of equipment logs and calibration
- Must be able to help grow a company culture of Continuous Improvement
- Actively comply with all quality and manufacturing procedures
Qualifications:
- High School Degree required, Associates Degree desired.
- The ideal candidate will also possess the following skills and abilities:
- Proficiency with basic lab tools such as microscopes, calipers, tensile tester, and other inspection
- tools
- Detailed oriented
- Must have good hand eye coordination and mechanical aptitude
- Ability to collaborate with diverse groups of people
- Positive attitude, driven and self-directed
- Experience in a structured manufacturing environment preferred
- Experience with medical device quality control preferred
- Knowledge of the standards related to medical device manufacturing, including ISO 13485 and 21 CFR
- Part 820 is a plus
