Wage: $20-$28 based on experience
Shift: 1st Shift 6am - 4pm
Schedule: Mon - Fri
Summary:
As a quality inspector you will be performing in-process inspections, floor audits and provide reports on findings. You will be maintaining the staging and hold areas by making sure that within 48 hours that the product has the appropriate disposition completed. You will establish a daily audit schedule and collect and record daily measurements and perform the necessary SPC charts.

- Housekeeping - You keep your work area clean and organized. You also keep tools and equipment clean and in good working condition.
- Attendance - You show up on time and ready to work.
- Perform roaming inspection and process audits.
- Conduct SPC where appropriate.
- Maintain the staging area or the hold area. This includes containing any nonconforming product found at final inspection.
- Draft work instructions for 100% sort or rework operations.
- Maintain the gage software. This includes calibrations and contacting 3rd part calibration companies for gauges we are not able to calibrate in house.
- Daily filing and clerical work.
- Assist operators with quality needs.
- Support the Quality Manager.
- Must have experience working with metal and small parts.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree in quality methods or equivalent
- 10 years of experience in quality control
- Strong record keeping skills with an attention to detail
- Ability to multitask is preferred with an ability to memorize part numbers
- A team player with excellent communication skills
- Strong commitment to doing quality work by servicing internal and external customers
- Basic computer skills are required
- Supports all company goals and demonstrates initiative
