As a Quality Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining quality management systems (QMS) within our organization. As well as, establish procedures, documentation, and training programs to ensure compliance with quality standards such as ISO 9001. You will work alongside a team of quality assurance professionals, develop and implement quality control processes, and collaborate with various departments to drive continuous improvement and maintain compliance with industry regulations and standards.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive quality management system in line with industry standards and best practices.
- Lead quality improvement initiatives, ensuring that products and processes meet or exceed customer expectations and regulatory requirements.
- Lead in the investigation of product warranty claims, plant quality concerns and customer complaints.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and monitor key quality metrics and performance indicators.
- Manage supplier quality assessments and relationships, driving supplier development and ensuring the highest quality materials and components.
- Establish quality standards, specifications, and guidelines for all products/services.
- Monitor and evaluate production processes to identify potential quality issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Monitor the progress of internal projects/programs/projects within the organization to ensure they are on schedule and meeting their objectives (e.g. ISO9001, AS9100)
- Other duties assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Quality Management or related field preferred;
- 3-5 years of experience in a leading role in a manufacturing industry.
- Demonstrated experience in managing complex projects

- Ability to work independently; and with a team

Pay: $55,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
