Quality Records Specialist

STS Aviation Services is hiring a Quality Records Specialist in Jensen Beach, Florida.

Mandatory Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience or certifications preferred but not required

General Qualifications/Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

• Excellent verbal, written, computer, and presentation skills necessary to work effectively with a variety of individuals, departments and organizations.
• Demonstrated proficiency in the operation of Microsoft Office programs such as Word and Excel.
• Thorough organizational skills with a focus on detail orientation.
• Possess verbal, written presentation, problem solving and interpersonal skills necessary to effectively communicate, update, persuade and/or facilitate discussions with all levels of employees, management & customers.
• Be self-motivated and able to work independently, or as part of a team.

General Responsibilities:

• The Quality Records Specialist is responsible for the control, accountability, and accuracy of all closed aircraft records.
• Monitors all retention periods required for aircraft records to comply with FAA regulations and company policies.
• Performs daily audits of closed aircraft records, verifying proper documentation of corrective actions, Required Inspection Items (RII), mandatory reporting requirements, part certification, and proper stamp/signature signoffs.
• Identifying records discrepancies and coordinating with Quality Control Inspectors and Production Supervisors to ensure items are corrected.
• Ensuring compliance with all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations during the course of daily assignments.
• Coordinating with Production Control and Planning personnel to ensure accountability of all aircraft records.
• Creates and maintains spreadsheets and reports at the request of the Director of Quality and Compliance.
• Assists during audits when needed.
• Any other duties as assigned by the Director of Quality and Compliance
