As the Quality-Patient Safety Analyst, you'll be responsible for collecting, transforming, analyzing and reporting quality outcomes and process data that support stakeholder's decisions related to quality initiatives, patient safety, performance improvement initiatives, regulatory standards compliance, and policies and procedures. The Analyst will be responsible for preparing, analyzing and distributing reports in the form of dashboards, scorecards or other presentation tools, ensuring the accuracy, integrity, validity, reliability and consistency in report preparation.

Responsibilities
What you'll do...
- Facilitates development and implementation of data collection tools and processes including, the ability to identify data elements needed to complete appropriate measurement, perform timely data collection and abstraction per specifications, and validate data prior to submission or preview reports prior to publication.
- Generates reports and analyses to support related quality improvement, patient safety, patient experience and operational effectiveness using key statistical tools, including but not limited to, run charts, bar charts, pie charts, control charts, and cause and effect diagrams. Analyzes data and identifies key findings and develops action plans. Presents complex data with simplicity of design in a clear, easy to
understand format. - Learns, understands and becomes proficient in relevant facility, CHI and external data sources and systems including, but not limited to, clinical process and outcome data, electronic health record data, event reporting data, and patient complaints, etc. (e.g. Midas+, iVOS, ATLAS, etc.). Assists in designing, developing, maintaining and updating clinical and other databases based on department and organizational
needs. - Collaborates on multidisciplinary teams and provides analytical support for various projects related to quality improvement, patient safety, patient experience and outcomes, as appropriate. Interprets, explains and discusses data analysis results.
Qualifications
- Associate's Degree or three (3) years of related job or industry experience in lieu of degree.
- Minimum of one (1) year analytic/statistical analysis experience, preferably in health-care or clinic environment.
