Doherty Career Solutions is partnering with a local Grand Forks, ND company as they search for a Quality Manager to join the thriving team. The Quality Manager is responsible for monitoring processes and procedures that align with the Quality Management System. Communicate and coordinate changes needed as we continually strive to improve, always to achieve customer satisfaction. This position is onsite and offers a competitive benefits package and a salary of $60,000-80,000 depending upon experience level.
Core Roles:
- Perform non-conformance analysis.
- Coordinate incoming and in-process inspections.
- Perform root cause analysis.
- Monitor corrective action effectiveness.
- Coordinate internal and external audits.
Essential Job Functions:
- Maintain the Quality Policy and Manual along with related procedures as quality objectives and/or business processes change.
- Communicate trends and assist in formulating action plans as needed to correct issues where non-conformities originated.
- Maintain calibration of measuring tools.
- Work with department teams in the creation of work instructions where applicable to ensure repeatability in our fabrication processes.
- Follow-up when scrapping or rejecting of parts occur during inspection and assist in determining corrective action.
- Determine the next course of action required in the event that a quality record is created.
- Collaborate with ISO9001 External Auditor and our management team to achieve successful audits.
- Other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
- Quality Management experience in an environment that includes metal fabrication processes.
- Experience in working with ISO9001 registrars.
- ISO9001 Internal Auditing experience.
- Data analysis skills to monitor and communicate trends.
- Proficient with measuring tools.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to successfully prioritize multiple daily requirements.
- Degree or previous work experience in Quality Management or related field.
- Ability to work in ERP software to enter and monitor quality system data.
- Proficient in the use of MS Office programs.
