The Quality Manager is responsible for the monitoring and maintenance of the quality and environmental systems in addition to ensuring all documented information required by ISO9001 and ISO 14001.

Sustain and/or build Customer relations focused on service and continued improvement.
Track and analyze quality trends and communicate to relevant personnel all information essential to the effective maintenance of the quality and environmental systems. Take appropriate corrective actions, when necessary.
. Maintain and develop Quality Assurance staff.
. Formulate and facilitate teams with project management & time-line assigned action items to drive improvements.
Ensure quality investigations are conducted with communications to relevant departments, customers and vendors.
Manage root cause corrective actions are adequately applied to processes.
Review with purchasing & quality engineer and authorize new suppliers and partner with purchasing on supplier quality issues.
Review customer specifications and ensure these requirements are introduced into the quality system and are understood by all team members.
Responsible for attainment and maintenance of select QMS/EMS certifications.
Represent the company with customer representatives and quality auditors.
Prepare budgetary submissions as requested and monitor annual departmental goals that will assist in meeting annual company-wide goals.
Control and maintain departmental budgets as allocated by management and accounting.
Represent quality function with customers during Quality improvement projects, DMI or APQP collaborations.
Tracking launch log PPAP dates and collecting and formulating data documentation for PPAP submission process to obtain on-time submission goals.
Formulating PFMEA?s to control plan?s and verifying they are correct before processing into the PPAP submission file.
. Submissions of explicit designated levels of PPAP?s to customers through different process portals.
. Responsible for communicating product safety requirements to the organization and implementing programs to create product safety awareness.
. Ensure quality assurance documentation is current including document control system and an effective change management program is in place.
Sustain & administrate a document control system with the proper retention & security of documents that is compliant with all internal & external requirements.
Working hours: 7:30 AM - 4:15 PM

Experience:
4-7 years
Qualifications:
College degree or continuing education studies on QMS/EMS systems.
Minimum five years in a manufacturing environment.
