Ensure that product manuals are complete, accurate, and distributed to the contract manufacturers (CM) on a timely basis
Respond in a timely manner to CM requests for specification and part number information and clarification
Research and resolve CM and in-house quality documentation concerns and needs
Conduct pH, viscosity, COA, specific gravity, packaging functional testing, and other quality tests on submitted cases of finished product from the CM’s and in-house manufacturing
Keep an orderly and organized in-house QA laboratory
Make sure all laboratory testing equipment is properly maintained and calibrated as needed
Maintain an accurate and organized inventory of laboratory supplies and communicate lab supply needs to the QA manager before running out
Initiate QA variance documentation in a timely fashion as needed
Create Excel data analysis spreadsheet reports based on laboratory testing as needed
Compile and organize data into presentational formats as needed
Maintain accurate laboratory test result records
Work closely with the quality specialist in the processing of supplier related NCR’s as needed
Work closely with the QA manager and other quality technicians in the delineation of daily work responsibilities
Act as backup to the Quality Lab manager in his absence
Participate in quality and process improvement initiatives.
Recommend process and quality improvement opportunities as they are identified
Perform other duties as assigned
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Applied Sciences (Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, etc.)
