Slabe Machine Products in Willoughby, Ohio is now taking applications for our 2nd shift which runs Monday through Thursday 4:30pm to 2:30am.
Our Inspectors perform In-Process Inspection duties in an Aerospace Parts manufacturing facility. Slabe manufactures small, complex parts with advanced CNC Turning equipment. This position requires the use of various handheld and optical measuring devices such as: Smart Scopes, Keyence Machines, Comparators, and Various Gauges. We are looking for someone who is well versed in GD&T Advanced Process Print reading. Experienced in operating a CMM (Zeiss) is a huge plus! We are looking for individuals who can work unsupervised to complete assigned tasks.

Key Responsibilities
- Inspecting any defects and discrepancies to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Measuring products with micrometers, calipers, smart scopes, etc.
- Record and report issues to supervisors or machinists
- Support process improvement
Skills Knowledge and Expertise
- Ability to read GD&T Code
- Ability to use all measuring equipment associated with inspection
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
