Johnson Service Group is looking for a Quality Inspector for our client in Cypress, CA .
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support Operators and Engineers to Inspect the Quality of Electronic Components
- Receiving and In-Process Inspection
- Accept Electronic Assemblies in Accordance with the Requirements of J-STD-001 and IPCA - 610, Including Space Level (Class 3) Requirements
- Approve In-Process Production by Confirming Specifications, Conducting Visual and Measurement Tests, Communicating Required Adjustments and Feedback to Production and
- Quality Assurance Management
- Inspect Surface Mount and Through-Hole Circuit Boards
- Inspect Cables, Wires, Terminals, Solder Joints and Reworks, as Necessary
Required
- Complete Knowledge and Understanding of J-STD-001 and IPC-A-610, Including Class 3
- Requirements
- 3-5 Years’ Experience Inspecting PCBs/Subassemblies/Modules
- Experience Inspecting Class 2 and 3 PCBs
- Experience Using a Microscope for Extended Periods of Time
- Certified or Previously Certified to J-STD-001 and IPC-A-610
- Ability to Utilize Various Mechanical Inspection Tools (Caliper, Micrometer, Pin Gauges,
- Radius Gage, etc.)
- Understanding Blue Print Requirements and Data Sheet Interpretation
- Understanding Electronic Contract Manufacturing Processes Activities such as SMT,
- Through-Hole, Mechanical Assembly (Hardware), Conformal Coating, Testing, and Box Build
- Fluently Speak, Read, and Write English
