Urgent need! Level 2 Electronics Inspector
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Level 2 Electronics Inspector to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of PCB/PCBA processes, with a particular emphasis on in-process inspections. While certifications are not mandatory, familiarity with IPC-610 standards is highly desirable. This role involves on-site responsibilities in supporting production, inspecting PCB/PCBA boards, and reviewing source documents from suppliers.
What to expect:
You will be part of a global inspection team assuring quality of components and assemblies that this global aerospace leader is sourcing from one or more suppliers in this area. Once on the team, you will be deployed through SQA’s operations center based on client need and each supplier’s production schedule.
Location: Sunnyvale, CA| Compensation range: $29-$32 DOE| Part-Time| Standard Schedule 8am-5pm| Contract: 3+ months

Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough in-process inspections of PCB and PCBA boards to ensure quality standards are met
Identify and address any deviations from specifications during the production phase
Collaborate with production teams on-site to provide real-time inspection support
Review source documents from suppliers to validate adherence to quality requirements.
- Maintain a deep understanding of Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) protocols to prevent damage to electronic components
- Evaluate solder quality and ensure compliance with industry standards
- Seize opportunities for ad-hoc inspections to maintain and enhance overall product quality.
Hands-On Expertise:
- Demonstrate a hands-on approach to problem-solving
- Ability to disassemble and reassemble products, such as LRAM, in the event of a failure during inspections
Qualifications:
- 2+ years' experience as electronic inspector
- Solid knowledge of PCB/PCBA processes, with IPC-610 familiarity.
- Hands-on experience in disassembling and reassembling electronic products.
- Understanding of ESD protocol and its application in electronic manufacturing.
- Knowledge of solder quality standards.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify deviations from specifications.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with on-site production teams and suppliers.
