Job Title: UT-MO-10002-Inspection & Quality-ADV
Job Type: Full time; contract (6 months)
Location: Vergennes, VT 05491
Schedule: Monday to Friday; 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Overtime available on a business need basis.
Pay Rate: 40.00 per hour
Job Summary
Conducts inspections of products (parts, assemblies, raw materials, tooling, instruments, etc.) to validate
compliance to design data requirements which include drawings, specifications, and contract requirements
at predetermined steps in the manufacturing process using basic inspection methods and tools.
Preferred manufacturing experience:
- 3-5 years Primary Responsibilities: Inspects a variety of electronic and mechanical parts using measuring/inspection instruments (e.g., micrometers, gauges, and calipers) with proper inspection techniques.
- Read, interprets, and utilizes quality policies, procedures, and other documentation.
- Performs receiving inspection of manufactured, assembled, and tested hardware.
- Operates computer systems to perform receiving inspection tasks.
- Verifies all paperwork for accuracy and completeness.
- Administers visual and physical inspections of units and subassemblies.
- Follow proper material handling and packaging techniques to avoid damage.
- Ability to work successfully in a team environment.
Education:
- HS Diploma or GED
Pay Details: 40.00 to 38.00 per hour
