Job Overview
Visual and dimensional inspection of parts, evaluation, and completion of documentation. Maintains the highest quality standards by following customer specifications and Praxair Standard Practices in all aspects of this job.
Responsibilities
• Perform visual inspection of processed parts ensuring that parts conform to customer specifications in all required aspects.
• Inspect and adjusts gauges, measuring instruments, and testing equipment for conformance to blueprint specifications.
• Assuring that receiving inspection is performed on all repair station parts and other customer parts, and that this is properly documented.
• Completing proper inspection records, reports, and forms.
• Conducting 1st article inspections and presenting the article to the source/government inspector as required.
• Maintaining records relating to inspection history of customer parts.
• Notifying the Chief Inspector of suspect parts, defects, or un-airworthy conditions for processing in accordance with FAR 145.63.
Qualifications:
Qualifications
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Frequent standing, capable of lifting 1-40 pounds
• Occasional walking, bending, reaching, hand and finger dexterity
• You will be required to maintain a clean and hazard free work area
• Knowledge of addition, subtraction, and units of measurement
• Ability to read and comprehend technical data, blue-prints, and related regulatory information
• Basic computer/Microsoft Office skills
