MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School diploma/GED equivalent (Prefer previous Quality experience)
- Microsoft Excel-Ability to chart statistical data
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Knowledge of gages, micrometers, calipers, templates, etc.
- Ability to problem solve in a team oriented environment
- Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal communication, and organizational skills
- Analytical and mathematical skills
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Becomes proficient in all assembly and pre-assembly operations
- Collects, analyzes and charts data
- Inspects incoming parts to ensure compliance with conformance to specifications
- Ensures that all in-process defects (IPDT) are appropriately tagged/labeled
- Understands and uses appropriate documents, charts, tags, and forms to complete daily audit duties
- Ensures the proper identification of all work in process ( WIP ), both approved and rejected product
- Coordinates the processing of non-conforming materials with Customers, Suppliers, Material Control, Accounting,
- and Production
- Completes all required start-up, in-process and final testing and analysis of products
- Interacts with assigned production team to ensure compliance to operator instructions
- Audits first off, mid run and last off parts and procedures at each station in the production process to ensure completion
- Ensures Control Plans and Work Instructions are followed and implemented ( Coordinates with appropriate QE )
- Reports all non-conformances in products, processes and procedures
- Assists Quality Engineering in warranty analysis and product returns
- Work requires strict adherence to safety procedures to avoid exposure to health risk. Must be able to lift 50lbs.
- Support GP12 and Receiving Inspection
AUTHORITY:
• Stop production for quality and safety issues
• Prevent shipment of substandard materials
• Contact the emergency response team in case of an environmental concern
