Job Responsibilities:
- Develop, coach, recruit and lead quality team to ensure compliance with all company standards and programs as written.
- Develop and Implement plant policies and procedures
- Ensures all colleagues are accurately trained by developing and/or presenting training materials
- Promotes colleague engagement towards continuous improvement in a proactive team environment
- Ensures compliance with regulatory, corporate, customer and 3rd party audit requirements.
- Lead all aspects of Food Safety Plan and QMS requirements within programs as developed
- Investigates to completion non-conformity, assure root cause analysis and review
- Responsible for implementing solutions to correct issues and provide follow-up and documentation
- Active in the production areas daily performing various duties
- Ability to sit/stand/walk for long periods of time while performing job duties
Job Requirements:

Areas of emphasis desired include Quality and Food Safety, Grain Science, Engineering.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a lead role with responsibility over the Quality Food Safety function
- General Understanding of Environmental, Health and Safety subject matter relating to a modern Food Production environment.
- Front line floor management experience in an automated food manufacturing facility. Preferably in a Food Production Facility environment
- Food Safety regulations and risk reduction techniques.
- Ability to understand Quality Management System(QMS) requirements as it relates to FSMA, HARPC, CFR 21 Sec 117 and BRC Standards.
- Lead a staffed Food production Quality Laboratory
- Follow Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) in compliance with established QMS requirements.
- Experience with automated Management Systems, Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
