Job Summary:
The Quality Engineer will provide quality assurance support to the product development team, engineering team and production teams, resolving quality defects, and other potential issues while ensuring products are meeting specifications.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Working with:
- Design teams – testing to identify product durability and areas of weakness.
Suppliers – working to ensure raw materials and component parts meet the company’s quality standards.
Manufacturing teams – ensuring that equipment and processes follow predetermined quality standards.
Customers – analyzing issues reported via customer feedback, maintaining records and implementing changes to manufacturing when necessary.
- Reviews design plans, process procedures, test procedures, and quality manuals to understand the scope, requirements, and function of products.
- Supports product development or operations team by providing analysis and expertise throughout the inspection process.
- Identifies root causes of problems in the production process; recommends and/or implements corrective measures.
- Analyzes data to identify trends in product quality or defects with the goal of mitigating and preventing recurrence and future defects.
- Determine quality metrics for all manufacturing procedures.
- Review current drawings/blueprints and quality documentation.
- Set and track quality assurance goals.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Extensive knowledge of or the ability to quickly learn the organizations production processes.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to serve as a liaison with developers, project managers, and customer support.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline desired.
- Three years of related experience required.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at times.

Work Schedule:
- Ability to work flexible hours, with additional time as needed.
- No more than 40 unexcused hours per calendar year.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $76,960.00 - $114,400.00 per year
