Quality Engineer

Job Description:

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and quality of our products and procedures through rigorous
inspections, implementation of quality control measures, and identification of areas for improvement.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Process Monitoring: Regularly monitor and inspect production processes to identify any deviations from quality stand
Utilize various inspection tools and techniques to ensure that products meet specified quality criteria.
2. Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality control procedures and processes. Conduct inspections and audits
to verify that products meet quality standards at different stages of production.

3. Data Analysis: Collect and analyze data related to product quality and process performance. Identify trends,
patterns, and areas for improvement based on data analysis.
4. Root Cause Analysis: Investigate and determine the root causes of quality issues or defects. Collaborate with other
departments, such as production and engineering, to address and resolve quality issues.
5. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed records of quality inspections, test results, and corrective actions
taken. Prepare and present regular reports on quality performance to management.
6. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement to enhance overall product quality.
Implement and monitor corrective and preventive actions to address quality issues and prevent their recurrence.
7. Collaboration: Work closely with production teams, engineers, and other relevant stakeholders to ensure a
collaborative approach to quality assurance. Provide guidance and support to production personnel on quality
requirements and standards.
8. Training: Conduct training sessions for production staff on quality standards, procedures, and the importance of
adhering to them.
9. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and customer specifications. Stay
updated on changes in quality standards and regulations affecting the manufacturing process.
10. Supplier Quality Management: Collaborate with suppliers to ensure incoming materials and components meet
quality specifications. Participate in supplier audits and evaluations.
11. Customer Feedback: Monitor and analyze customer feedback and complaints related to product quality. Implement
corrective actions based on customer feedback to enhance overall satisfaction.
12. Supervising daily activities within the Quality department. Maintain the Quality Management System.
13. Analyze operational problems and develop/implement acceptable solutions, from an engineering standpoint to
existing or new processes.
14. Assist in implementing new or modified equipment or processes, including installation, start-up, and debugging
activities.

Education
• College Degree preferred but not required or combination of education, training or experience that provides
required knowledge, skills, and abilities, is also acceptable.

EXPERIENCE:
• 5-10 years’ experience in a QA role.
• Mechanical Background in Manufacturing, Manufacturing Engineer, Sheet Metal Industry
• A strong track record of leading the quality function while improving quality metrics and results.
• Knowledge of Mie Trak Pro ERP system is a plus.
• Strong leadership skills

LICENSES OR CERTIFICATES:
• Valid driver’s license
• Must be a U.S Citizen or “U.S Person” due to ITAR Restrictions and regulation.
