JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Impulse, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Quality Inspector in Greenville. Our client is a Pharmaceutical Facility. The Quality Inspector is responsible monitoring product quality through the performance of various visual and physical test.

Responsibilities of a Quality Inspector includes:

• Promote cGMP compliance in a FDA/DEA regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
• Sample and inspect in-process product using statical sampling plans (AQLs). Perform and document finished product inspections
• Perform inspections of the packaging rooms and the packaging lines for clearance purposes.
• Review and maintain line clearance log, Oversee rework operations and provide line clearance for rework
• Review documentation for cGMP compliance and accuracy
• Develop a working knowledge of statistical based sampling plans
• Separate, quarantine, tag, and document non-confirming material
• Continuously maintain a working knowledge of cGMPs, SOPs, WIs, and FDA regulations.
• initiate and assist other IQA’s with process issues, as needed. Maintain and process issue electronic log
• Collect QC, Micro, reserve an stability samples as well as verify that other IQA’s collect the required samples and label them properly. Stage samples for transfer to storage location.
• Maintain lot history record spreadsheet
• Perform in-line inspection equipment challenges
• Help to identify and present on-going initiatives for continuous improvements to the organizations quality process. Assist in creating SOPs and maintain SOP notebooks.
• Perform inspections of components and printed materials as back up to component inspectors
• Calibrate and program in-line scales and calculate average fill values. Perform monthly logbook reviews on balance calibration verifications logbooks. Input manual fill volume data in the computer when backup procedure is required.
• Perform the incoming inspection of tablets for beach pharmaceutical
• Update and maintain spreadsheets used by quality assurance.
• Train new QA Inspectors
• Have access to control cages to assist QA inspectors with samples
• Review and help revise SOPs and WI

Job Requirements of a Quality Inspector:

• High school diploma or GED, plus knowledge/training in a specialized field, such as business, information technology, life sciences etc. equivalent to two years of college
• 3+ years experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Highly organized, detailed orientated
• Self starter and able to multi task
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• cGMP experience is preferred
• Math skills needed
