Supplier shall provide quality engineering and quality specialist expertise for parallel program planning and execution services. Tasks associated with this SOW include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Provide quality engineering and quality inspection services at the Client Rocket Factory
- Identify, segregate, and control Nonconforming Material & Dispositioning.
- Lead and drive to closure Out of Tolerance Investigation.
- Facilitate Root Cause Corrective Action Investigation and implement effective corrective action.
- Provide Quality Inspection Planning and execution
- Provide First Article Inspections planning and execution.
- Develop, lead, implement Quality Improvement Plan and review effectiveness
- Perform hardware inspection, verification, and acceptance per engineering requirements and procedures
- Build record documentation closure and verification review.
Other tasks include the following:
- Assembly of a variety of structural, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanically actuated component sub-assemblies for New Shepard, New Glenn, and Engine’s components
- Hydrostatic and Pneumatic proof / leak testing
- Assembly of structural components of the rocket to aerospace standards
- Work with engineers to review design concepts, provide feedback for ease of assembly, and support development tests.
- Review, edit and follow work instructions for assembly tasks with focus and attention to detail.
- Plan and communicate assembly steps for complex mechanical installations.
