SalaryWe are seeking a Quality Control Technician to work in our Donor Screening laboratory ! This laboratory provides the global plasma industry with comprehensive donor qualification and source plasma donation screening services including advanced genetic testing and blood testing. Under general supervision, the Quality Control Technician will be responsible for receiving and processing samples to be pooled. This position will focus heavily on sample management, processing incoming shipments, and operating and troubleshooting robotic instruments.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain specimen archive and perform specimen accessioning and data entry for test requisitions
- Accurately and timely perform assigned technical procedures for pooling plasma samples including appropriate documentation
- Perform preventative maintenance, monitor, operate and troubleshoot instrumentation
- Identify and correct problems that may adversely affect samples results
- Document corrective actions as applicable and report quality concerns
- Perform general laboratory upkeep and inventory control
- Comply with all company polices and safety procedures
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, or related scientific discipline
- Ability to work independently within a team and strong attention to detail
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Demonstrate ability to problem solve and take instructions from laboratory management
- Must have good organizational skills and strong oral and written communication skills

Pay: $56,800.00 - $65,690.00 per year
