Quality Control Supervisor

Volt is immediately hiring for aQuality Control Supervisor in Bartlett, IL for a growing food products supplier. If you have a background in Quality Control supervision/leadership (food manufacturing) and a passion for high quality food products, then this is the position for you!
Shift: 10p-6am (1 hour break) Monday- Friday.
Salary: $55,000 - 75,000 + 5% bonus*
As the Quality Control Supervisor you will:

• Be responsible for the scheduling QC Technicians.
• Develop Food Safety and Quality programs that result in compliance with Corporate Policies and Procedures USDA, FDA GM.Ps, and customer requirements
• Participate in investigation of customer complaints.
• Maintain all instruments and equipment calibration.
• Involvement with positive release and Hold/release products
• Complete regular GMP audit of the manufacturing facility

This is a full time, Direct Hire opportunity.
The ideal candidate will have:

• 3+ years of experience in Quality Controlin food manufacturing
• Previous management/supervision for Quality Control team
• HACCP Certification.
• Basic principles of microbiology and biochemistry, organic and inorganic chemistry
• Confidence and leadership skills to work in a high volume production/quality area
• Mathematical aptitude with analytical proficiency
• Professional communication skills
• Bilingual- Spanish is a PLUS

Salary: $55,000 - 75,000 + 5% bonus*
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
