Job Summary

This position is responsible for overseeing the Quality Inspectors to ensure efficient utilization of their time and high-quality output. The QC Supervisor will ensure the planning and utilization of equipment, facilities, and personnel to meet production goals and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

· Through knowledge of Inspection duties and responsibilities.

· Planning and scheduling of people’s time to support production schedules.

· Adjusting schedules where needed.

· Knowledge of machines and tools.

· Read and interpret blueprints to determine product requirements.

· Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 Standards.

· Coaching and mentoring of employees, in cooperation with Human Resources and best management practices.

· Maintaining and improving workplace organization (5S)

· Continuously Improving the Inspection process.

· Ensuring equipment is in proper working conditions and meets all safety requirements.

Qualifications

· Some college preferred.

· Previous supervisory experience preferred.

· Must have good computer skills and have experience utilizing Microsoft Office programs (i.e.: Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.…), including email.

· Welding experience preferred.

· Basic understanding of SPC and other statistical tools.

· Excellent math, organizational and communication skills.

· Ability to understand and utilize blueprints and other and technical specifications.

· Experience working with military vehicles or products a plus.
