We are looking for a Quality Control Supervisor to join our team to:
- Lead our QC lab technicians and oversee day-to-day operations within the QC lab
- Build a quality culture with quality and production employees
- Maintain and develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) and Standardized Work Instructions
- Lead efforts associated with laboratory equipment, product hold and release, test performance, data entry, and data communication
- Problem solve for internal and external quality issues/concerns
What you'll do:
- Supervise lab technicians to ensure compliance to quality standards
- Participate in audits to align facility efforts in quality compliance initiatives
- Coordinate compliance with SQF, ISO 9001, and HACCP programs
- Provide guidance and leadership in situations where deviations have occurred or risks have been identified
- Use data to meet and improve quality systems and manage to quality KPIs
What you'll bring:
- Strong leadership and team building skills
- Experience supervising or managing quality employees
- Strong SQF, FDA, HACCP, ISO, or Six Sigma knowledge
- BS degree in Chemistry, Biology, or food Science
