Job Description
Position summary:
Conducts required chemical and physical analysis of raw materials, intermediate, and finished products.
Tasks:
Conducts routine and non-routine analyses on raw materials, intermediate, and finished product.
Identifies deviations in analysis results and notifies Management immediately.
Utilizes computer software programs for data entry, storage, and retrieval, process monitoring and verification, and results generations.
Maintains laboratory test equipment and ensures the laboratory and work areas are in a clean, orderly, and safe condition.
Adheres to all safety procedures and uses all required personal protective equipment, knows how to use eye wash stations, and other safety devices.
Upholds the safety and quality standard of the Company.
Other duties assigned by management.
Basic Skills & Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift up to 10 lbs. frequently
Must be able to stand for long periods of time (>3 hrs continuously.)
Must have strong computer skills, including accurate data entry and the use of databases and MS office software (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Education
Associates/Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology or related science strongly preferred
High School Diploma/GED with previous lab experience in a Quality Control Lab
