CHawk Technology is urgently hiring a QC Inspector to operate CMM (Coordinated Measuring Machine) for the purposes of performing first article, in-process visual inspections, receiving and final inspection.
Key Responsibilities (but not limited to):
- Accurately interpret and read intermediate drawings using Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance (GD&T)
- Perform complex measurements with the use of all hand tools
- Perform general measurements using CMM, Keyence, etc
- Oversee intermediate to complex in-process, visual, receiving, FAI and final inspection
- Produce detailed documentation (inspection reports, NCRs, etc)
- Work with the QA department to ensure that good quality work is always being performed
Essential Skills:
- Prior experience with CMM programming (Coordinate Measuring Machine)
- Prior knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance (GD&T)
- Knowledge of all hand tools (Calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, etc)
- Knowledgeable and skilled in QC work with mechanical parts
- Prior experience with Keyence/noncontact inspection equipment is a plus!
- Leadership: Display initiative to follow up and resolve problems seen in the field and always willing to bring ideas to the table
- Teamwork: Wonderful team player with a great attitude, willing to learn and grow in their role
- Attention to detail: High attention to detail is required to perform accurate measurements
- Good knowledge of Mircosoft products such as Excel, word, and outlook.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience as a mechanical inspector
- ASQ, CQI or equivalent certification is a plus

Pay: $21.00 - $29.00 per hour
