- Compensation Range: $21.50/hr. to $24.00/hr.
- Hours: 1st shift- 7:00am to 3:30 pm 2nd shift 3:00pm - 11:30pm & 3rd shift 11:00pm to 7:00am. (Hours may vary)
- Employment Type: Full-Time - Temp-to-Hire
- Compensation Range: $21.00/hr. to $24.00/hr. Depending on experience and shift.
- Experience: Previous Quality Control experience preferred.
Job description
Description / Scope / Mission
Conduct assigned Quality Control checks to ensure all manufactured products meet the required
specifications.
Work with Line Operators and Production Supervisor to adjust the process when OOS/OOT data is found
during Quality Control checks.
Identify and isolate components used in production that do not meet specifications.
Identify and isolate finished goods produced in production that do not meet specification.
Key Responsibilities/ Accountabilities
1. Conduct Quality Control inspections on finished goods, to include:
a) Start of shift checks (bottle/case codes, bottle/case labels, print apply labels)
b) 1st Case checks
c) 1st Pallet checks
d) Routine Line checks
2. Conduct Quality Control inspections on filled totes.
3. Identify and isolate components on the filling lines that are “suspect” and/or do not meet specification. Put
“suspect” and/or non-confirming components on Reject and issue a Non-Conformance in Unipoint.
4. Make pass/fail decisions on finished goods according to established specifications:
a) Identify and isolate finished goods that do not meet specification.
b) Put non-conforming finished goods on Reject and issue a Non-Conformance in Unipoint.
c) Instruct the Line Operator and/or Production Coordinator to adjust the process if out-of-specification data
(OOS) data is found during QC checks (i.e. fill weight, torque, label placement, etc.)
5. Collect finished good retains and provide to the QC Lab.
6. Ensure Quality Control inspections are documented according to cGMPs and GDPs.
7. Conduct finished good inspections, to AQL criteria, assigned by the QA Compliance Manager.
8. Perform other duties as required and requested by supervisory personnel.
