Quality Control Inspector

We have now stood up a wholly owned, and US operated business, Quantum-Systems Inc., in the United States. This business directly addresses the Defense and Security markets in North America. As a result of this expansion, we have a Quality Inspector opening for a well-qualified candidate.

The Quality Inspector measures and assesses raw materials, in-process and finished goods to ensure all customer requirements have been met. This position requires utilizing various tools and methodologies for inspection purposes. It entails meticulous record-keeping of inspections conducted, and in the event of identifying defects, promptly reporting them.

Duties:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date acceptance and rejection records and/or certifications systems as required by the applicable specifications.
• Determine acceptance or rejection after inspection and/or calibration of parts.
• Recognize any faulty conditions and test failures and compile all necessary documentation and calibration history.
• Perform inspection on detailed machined parts using a wide variety of measuring and test equipment to determine acceptability or rejections of parts and/or parts finish.
• Interpret specifications, charts and manual and use mathematics to convert blueprint dimensions and tolerances.
• Follow the instructions provided in drawings, schematics, blueprints, route sheets, travelers, quality directives, technical engineering specifications, customer requirements, and military standards and/or calibration procedures.
• Observe and perform audits of a moderate scope or complexity on assembly and test, machining and other functions for compliance to procedures.
• Perform daily, weekly and monthly equipment and material checks.
• Perform pre-inspection and post-inspection cleaning.
• Adhere to all specified safety protocols and regulations, ensuring a hazard-free work environment.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED equivalent is required or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment in either electronics or electro-mechanical assembly and test or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Ability to read blueprints is desired.
• Must have basic computer operation skills.
• Strong oral and written communication skills to communicate effectively with employees in the Company.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving skills and attention to detail with ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written or oral form.
• US Citizenship is required/Background check required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.00 - $27.00 per hour
