Immediate opening for a Quality Control Inspector in Baldwin Park, CA who possesses:  
 
*    1-2 years experience with quality inspection of alloys, preferably in the aerospace industry
*    Bilingual in Spanish is a plus

FULL DESCRIPTION:
 
The selected candidate will be responsible for:  
*    Perform First Piece/In-Process Inspections and audits as required.
*    Inspects in-process production by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, communicating required adjustments to production supervisor and engineering personnel.
*    Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs, summarizing re-work and waste, and inputs data into quality database.
*    Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations.
*    Accomplishes quality and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
*    Assist in root cause and corrective action findings and implementation.
*    Interact with machine operators to ensure quality standards are achieved.
*    Follow and verify routings sequential operations for part processing procedures and update in ERP application software.
 
The selected candidate will also possess:  
*    Must be proficient in blueprint reading and GD&T symbols.
*    Experience in using quality inspection tools (Mic, Calipers, Optical Comparator, Height gage, etc.).
*    Detailed oriented, well organized, self-motivated and must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
*    Written and verbal communication skills
*    Must have at least 20/30 vision
*    High school diploma
*    1-2 years of relevant/technical work experience
*    Bilingual a plus
*    Will be asked to demonstrate proficiency in blueprint reading and use of inspection tooling.  
 
Salary Range: $21-$25/hr
