We are seeking multiple Quality Control Engineers at QC I and QC II levels who can excel in a fast-paced environment. At Biometrics4ALL, we offer an excellent career path for technology professionals and 70% of our Software Engineering Team have been promoted from the Quality Control Team.
To qualify for this full-time, onsite position, you must reside in Orange County or a nearby commutable area. As per industry regulations, you must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident, and no visa sponsorship or Practical Training applicants will be considered. We offer company direct hire only and no recruiters are allowed to make contact.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Quality Control Engineer, you will be responsible for configuring and testing software, hardware, and web applications, performing basic level programming in .NET, HTML, and XML, creating and maintaining test scripts, test procedures, release notes, and specifications, identifying product improvements to maximize customer satisfaction, providing work effort estimates, planning and completing tasks accordingly, and assisting support team members to resolve difficult issues.
Key Requirements:
To be considered for this position, you must possess a 4-Year Computer Science Degree (or equivalent) with a minimum of 3.0 GPA or 4 years of hands-on software QC experience. You should also have a solid understanding of XML, object-oriented programming, and databases, and possess excellent logical and reasoning skills. You must also be detail-oriented, possess excellent organization skills, excellent communication skills, be proficient with MS-Office, and have excellent typing skills of 50+ WPM. Additionally, you should be smart, dedicated, and hardworking.
