```Overview:
Tec Labs, an Oregon Top 100 employer, is seeking a Quality Control Chemist to work in a fast-paced collaborative environment. This position is expected to function as a team member with the ability to perform all tests conducted in the QC laboratory and comply with Good Manufacturing Practices and Good Laboratory Practices, follow Good Documentation Practices, and abide by Safety & Housekeeping Policies. Responsibilities:
- Perform a wide range of laboratory tests using techniques such as spectroscopy, wet chemistry, gas chromatography, and rapid microbial
- Analyze samples and interpret test results
- Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment
- Develop and validate analytical methods
- Ensure compliance with FDA regulations and Quality Control standards
- Document test results accurately and maintain detailed records
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues and improve processes
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in analytical techniques
- Contribute to the development of new products and processes
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related field
- Proven experience working in a laboratory setting
- Strong knowledge of analytical chemistry principles and techniques
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in performing tests and documenting results
- Proficiency in using laboratory equipment and software
-Experience with the implementation of advanced analytical methods and physical characterization techniques such as Raman spectroscopy, GC/FID, IR, wet chemistry, HPLC, pH, viscosity, RI, rapid microbial testing etc.
- Knowledge of FDA regulations and Quality Control practices
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate effectively with team members
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues
