Job Overview Summary
This role performs document quality reviews to ensure accuracy compared to primary sources. Requires independent judgment, attention to detail and accountability. Expertise reflected in consideration of continuously improving workflow. Adheres to Advarra’s Quality Control standards and meets timelines.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
Effectively performs the duties of a Quality Control Coordinator II:
- Critically reviews documents for accuracy in content
- Communicates errors to operations staff regarding missing and/or incomplete elements
- Is responsive to director or manager requests to expedite processing of delegated tasks
- Accomplishes daily workload priorities with flexibility and adaptability
- Appropriate escalation of complex reviews to manager
- Executes procedures in compliance with internal quality standards and external regulations
Supports vision of team performance through:
- Timely processing of delegated tasks
- Proposing and advocating adoption of team success metrics
- Performing other duties as assigned
Location – US REMOTE
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in health science or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 2+ plus years in a human subject’s protection environment or related role
- At least 1 year of demonstrated expertise in the QC process
- Knowledge of Quality Control
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified IRB Professional (CIP) preferred
Physical and Mental Requirements
- Sit or stand for extended periods of time at stationary workstation
- Regularly carry, raise, and lower objects of up to 10 Lbs.
- Learn and comprehend basic instructions
- Focus and attention to tasks and responsibilities
- Verbal communication; listening and understanding, responding, and speaking

Pay Transparency Statement
The base salary range for this role is $36,200 - $61,500. Note that salary may vary based on location, skills, and experience and may vary from the amounts listed above. This position may also be eligible for a variable bonus in addition to base salary as well as health coverage, paid holidays, and other benefits.
