Responsibilities:
- All aspects of product and production Quality Control
- Implement & control quality procedures.
- Reject and quarantine all non-conforming product.
- Resolve quality relates issues in a timely mater
- Evaluate and recommend improvements to current test procedures
- Perform incoming inspection on raw materials and components.
- Perform standard quality tests on production and engineering samples
- Develop procedures and procedural instructions for process and quality implementations
- Teach quality aspects to co-workers
- Write reports and provide analytical interpretations of test results
- Control ISO Procedures and documents, perform internal audits
Technical Experience:
- Familiar with international Standards such as ASTM; SAE, DIN
- Familiar with SPC, DOE, Cause & Effect Analysis, 6 Sigma, TQM
- Familiar with FFF (Form, Fit and Function) rules and its implementation
- Familiar with ISO and its implementation
- Familiar with OSHA rules and regulations.
- Should be mechanically apt to be able to setup assembly & test fixtures.
- Has to be able to read and interpret part and assembly drawings
- Familiarity with GD&T Dimensioning & Tolerancing (ANSI/ASME Y14.5M-1994)
Educational Requirements:
- Must have been active within the automotive/industrial quality environment for a minimum of 2 years
- Strong understanding of Quality Control standards and test techniques.
- Certification in Quality Control preferred
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office
- Good Math and Technical Skills,
- High School Degree or GED

- Exhibits a "Command of Detail"
- Exhibits good communications skills
- Able to function in a "Team Oriented" environment
- "Self-Starter" able to perform on projects with minimal supervision
