1086 S 3rd St, Manchester, IA 52057, USA | Full Time Job Overview:Generally expected to work as a valued member of the XL Specialized Trailers team. The Quality Auditor will be responsible for conducting audits of our processes and products, in an IOS 9001:2015 environment, to identify areas of improvement working with the quality team to develop and implement new quality control procedures.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Ensures compliance with established internal control procedures meet ISO 9001:2015 requirements by examining records, reports, operating practices, and documentation.Verifies materials for accuracy by identifying and counting items comparing them to documentation.Completes audit workpapers by documenting audit findings.Communicates audit findings by preparing a final report, discussing findings with auditees.Resolves quality issues by identifying root cause; examining solution options; implementing action plans; providing resources and training.Recommends quality polices by identifying problems; studying standards; evaluating quality outcomes.Advises management by summarizing data; preparing reports; explaining proposals; counseling managers; making recommendations.Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations. Wears proper personal protective equipment.Identifies and anticipates safety and health concerns and hazards by surveying environmental, operational, and occupational conditions.Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.Ancillary Duties:Perform any other tasks assigned to support and improve the overall operations of the XL Specialized Trailers.Supervisory Responsibilities:NoneSupervision Received:Works under general supervision.

The employee is responsible for planning and carrying out the assignment, keeping the supervisor informed of progress and potential problems or future implications.Contact with Others:Daily contact with internal team members requiring courtesy, discretion, and sound judgment. Limited external contact.Licensing and Certification:None required. Certification by the American Society for Quality (ASQ) desirable.Education and Experience:High School diploma or GED required.

Post-secondary, industry-related, coursework preferred.Essential Skills and Experience:Exceptional attention to detail.Advanced organizational and planning skills.Problem analysis and problem resolution at an organizational level.Strong customer orientation.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Commitment to company values.Computer proficiency.Physical Demands:+ Extended periods of standing and walking.+ Repeated bending and stooping.+ Ability to climb ladders and stairs, working at heights up to twelve feet.+ Ability to work under, around and on top of product.+ Ability to routinely lift 20 lbs. and occasionally up to 50lbs.Work Environment:Work is primarily performed indoors.
