Job Description:
- We are seeking a talented and highly motivated Quality Assurance Engineer (QAE) for a contract position testing iOS and Android mobile applications.
- The ideal candidate has great communication skills, can remove roadblocks, detail oriented, and has a knack for breaking software.
- QAE's regularly work with Developers, Product Managers, User Experience Designers, and other Quality Engineers to ensure the proper operation of the production environment.
- During the development cycle, QAEs identify use cases, create test cases, execute tests, and report results.
QUALIFICATIONS
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience 4+ years industry experience testing software, including mobile applications.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
- Experience with QA process and Software Development Life Cycle.
- Proficiency in test methodologies, scripting, and problem solving. Understands test approaches; knows when/not to apply.
- Proficiency with writing and optimizing test plans, automated solutions, and QA metrics.
- Experience with Kotlin, Java, and/or SwiftUI is desired, but not required.
