Quality Assurance Specialist
The QA Specialist is responsible for checking, maintaining, and coordinating Quality Assurance processes and inspections approved and arranged by Testing Coordinators and the Compliance Manager.
Responsibilities:
· Perform quality checks to product specification on incoming raw materials
· Identify, investigate, and document non-conformities in Corrective Action Plans including follow-up and closure of investigation
· Coordinate and review test and marketing samples
· Arrange and coordinate test samples to send to 3rd party labs
· Participate in Product Readiness Meetings and 3rd party Final Random product Inspections (FRIs)
· Assist Plant Manager and 3rd party inspectors with onsite audits
· Maintain Red Sealed (technical) and Yellow Sealed (final) sample library
Education and Experience:
· High School diploma (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
· Textiles knowledge/experience a plus
· Quality inspection, auditing, and testing experience a plus
· Experience with implementation of corrective actions plans a plus
· Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office
