A Product team at SupplyPike consists of dedicated people from multiple disciplines that work towards building and selling a software product that solves important customer pain points. The product team typically works together to set its own roadmap, revenue goals, and feature timelines.
This Quality Assurance Engineer will be part of the Engineering org, reporting to the Director of Engineering.
You will join a small application development team which typically consist of a product manager, UX designer, QA, and 2-4 software engineers. You will participate in our agile software development process to brainstorm and build amazing products that are highly desired by our customers. You will be responsible for the bug-freeness of new features, stability of existing features, and monitoring overall uptime quality of the application.
This role is hybrid, with 2-3 days a week in our Rogers office.

Key Responsibilities
You will participate in all stages of the application development process from conception through release, including:
- Develop and maintain standards and methods for inspection, testing, and evaluation of software features.
- Represent the Acceptance Criteria of the software development lifecycle.
- Define, track and report standardized Quality Assurance metrics.
- Plan and execute manual and automated tests.
- Create and maintain playbooks and documentation for testing plan, verification steps, resolution steps, and edge cases.
- Participate in reviewing and resolving support ticket escalation procedures.
- Collaborate with customer support, product, engineering on customer journey tasks.
- Participate in reviewing and resolving application uptime incidents.
- Prepare necessary reports as required by customers and staff personnel.
Skills Knowledge and Expertise
- Associate's, Bachelor's, Technical degree or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of software Quality Assurance or Business Analyst experience.
- Intimate knowledge of the multiple layers of software Quality Assurance.
- Experience with automated test tools (e.g. Nightwatch, TestComplete, etc)
- Experience with database querying syntaxes
- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
- Strong work ethic and ability to flourish with minimal guidance
- Bonus: experience in programming or scripting
