Allied Plastics LLC is a Custom Plastic Thermoforming Manufacturer located in Twin Lakes and Wilmot WI. Quality Assurance Inspectors at Allied Plastics are responsible for working along-side production personnel while testing, inspecting and measuring products at various stages of production to ensure ultimate quality of finished products at our Distribution Center in Wilmot, WI.
Quality Assurance Inspector Duties and Responsibilities

• Inspect and review products for accurate dimensions and qualifications.
• Interpret various engineering drawings, work instructions, and process control sheets to define part acceptance and critical characteristics.
• Perform random quality control inspection audits on work in progress and finished goods.
• Record electronically on a daily summary log.
• Utilize ERP system (Epicor) to process non-conforming materials.
• Use various equipment including decimal tape measure, caliper, ultra-sonic gauge, color spectrophotometer, gloss meter, melt flow, etc. Will be trained upon hire.
• Keep legible and organized records/documentation.
• Maintain a clean work area and follow plant safety rules and regulations.
• Perform other related duties as needed.

Requirements
Quality Inspector Qualifications

• Strong quality focus with great attention to detail.
• Able to interact and communicate well with Management, Supervisors, and all other employees.
• Self-starter / motivated to succeed.
• Ability to create basic reports using Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Able to lift up to 25 pounds (occasionally).
• Completed High School Diploma or GED.
• Manufacturing/production experience - preferred
