Position Summary
Works with all areas of the organization and deals directly with suppliers and customers to improve the quality of the products, services, and systems of Baldwin Filters.
Responsibilities
CORE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Documenting and reporting product or service quality levels
Communicating with other team members to solve problems
Following up with the appropriate channels when mistakes are found
Managing product quality planning and compliance activities.
Performing and analyzing SPC for critical dimensions and process capability.
Collection information and data entry for IMDS submissions.
Preparing and submitting customer PPAPs.
Training quality technicians on product and process characteristics
Qualifications
Required: High School education. Five years quality experience in a manufacturing environment. General knowledge of the AIAG Core Tools and ISO Quality Standards. Experience at a previous employer may be considered and applied to the experience requirement at the discretion of the Divisional Quality Manager.
Any deviations from the above requirements (e.g., substituting more work experience for required education) will be evaluated and approved by the Division Quality Manager
Preferred: Associate degree in business administration, manufacturing technology or related courses.
