Job Description
Our client is actively seeking a Quality Assurance Coordinator to play a crucial role in overseeing and executing Quality Assurance and control activities at their manufacturing facility in Exton.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the quality of raw materials, in
-process materials, and finished products. This role requires ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations while upholding the company's commitment to quality.
Key :
*Oversee quality control processes for incoming raw materials and parts supplied by vendors, ensuring adherence to established inspection protocols.
*Conduct quality checks during manufacturing processes following the inspection plan.
*Ensure final product inspection aligns with quality standards and inspection plans.
*Implement procedures to guarantee accurate product identification and traceability.
*Maintain, calibrate, and document inspection and test equipment.
*Contribute to the development and enforcement of test methods, root cause analysis, and 5S/LEAN methodologies.
*Manage non
-conforming products, initiate corrective actions for internal and supplier quality issues.
*Keep records of Non
-Conforming Reports (NCR) for internal and vendor quality non
-conformances.
*Oversee the Returns and Complaints section, collaborating with Sales and Engineering teams.
*Maintain quality documentation and perform additional quality system functions.
*Conduct Faro arm inspections as required.
*Support manufacturing activities and other assigned tasks.
*Ability to perform essential functions effectively. Accommodations may be provided for individuals with disabilities.
*Correctable eyesight to 20/20, with annual eye tests required. Additional certifications may be necessary during employment.
*Preferred: ASNT Level II Certification in Visual Inspection and Dye Penetrant Testing.
*High School diploma or GED.
*Four years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
*Knowledge of MSS specs, ASME B16 codes, or ASME boiler and pressure vessel codes.
*Capability to perform internal audits.
*Proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
*Above average mathematics skills, including high school level geometry.
*Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documents.
*Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe suite.
*Familiarity with personal computers and Microsoft Windows operating systems.
