Quality Assurance Coordinator

We are seeking a Standards and Quality Assurance Coordinator to become an integral part of our team! This is a 2-year contract position with a NYS agency. The position does have the possibility of extension.

This Standards and Quality Assurance Coordinator position requires a self-starter who is organized, and detail orientated. The qualified candidate will work closely with Senior project managers and external contractors. This is a full-time position that will be a hybrid role. The candidate will work in the office, located in Albany and will also have the ability to work from home. A flexible schedule will be coordinated with the qualified candidate.

The position will pay between $31and $36 per hour depending on candidate experience.

Responsibilities:

• Basic knowledge of renewable energy
• Analyze internal and external data through quantitative research
• Communicate findings to company through standard and ad hoc reports
• Promote best practices in data analysis and reporting
• Work closely with Senior Project managers
• Experience working with external contractors
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in energy industry, analysis, or another related field is a plus, but has a strong interest in analysis and data and looking to learn and grow in this field
• Knowledge of statistical tools and business reporting
• Ability to multi-task and be self-motivated
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Experience with Salesforce preferred
