Quality Assurance Clinical Auditor

*Full Time - Remote Opportunity*


VillageCare is seeking an enthusiastic professional for our Quality Assurance Clinical Auditor role. This position ensures that clinical and medical management activities are compliant with clinical mandates of all Federal and New York State regulatory requirements. Playing a key role in the department, this role is responsible for the identification, development and follow up of processes, procedures, risk identification and education of clinical and non-clinical staff.

Some responsibilities will include:

  • Assist with coordinating clinical department activities, including but not limited to policy and procedure development and revision, individual staff audits, and overall operations to ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
  • Provides service support, training, and performance metrics to the team in addition to initiating and implementing process improvements.
  • Conduct audits, monitor and report all noncompliance to business owners, and respond to corporate compliance requests and requirements.
  • Contributes to developing corrective action plans in conjunction with the management staff.
  • Performs internal clinical and non-clinical audits for Quality Assurance.
  • Identifies risks and develops plans to minimize impact on the organization.
  • Partners with the corporate compliance team to ensure that issues are addressed, initiatives and directives implemented, and deficiencies are remediated promptly.
  • Assists with compliance tracking, trending, and reporting tools to ensure audit readiness of all functional areas for all audit activities.
  • Research federal and state regulations and other regulatory materials for various business requirement contracts.

We would like to speak to those who have a current NYS Registered Nurse License along with a Bachelor's degree. 3 -5 years of experience in Utilization Management/Managed Care with specific knowledge of quality monitoring, compliance, and/or regulatory processes for Medicare lines of business. 2 years of experience with quality measurement systems. Experience in workforce development and resource management with excellent team building and professional development skills.
