Job Summary: Interact with customers, suppliers and internal associates concerning warranty and vendor returns while ensuring the recoveries of monies and products are documented and tracked.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Initiates Return to Vendor (RTV) Requests with vendors in a timely fashion based on nonconformance disposition and provides warehouse with documentation for shipment of approved RTV's for outbound shipment.
- Maintain documented information on RTV approvals and provides assistance to accounting as required to identify or cross-check credits with prior RTV's.
- Provides feedback for quarterly supplier scorecard.
- Aggregates and documents disposition of obsolete and scrap reports for approval - provides disposal list to warehouse upon approval of disposition.
- Gather and retains information on LeeBoy rework to communicate with Purchasing to recover credit from the vendors for vendor caused rework.
- Create vend out rework requests as appropriate including coordination of Request for Quotes for rework purchase orders.
- Receive in and process RMA parts from dealers including annual returns.
- Participation in Material Review Board and backup coverage for disposition of nonconforming materials and issuance of supplier corrective actions requests.
- Must be able to handle working with used parts.
- Ability to stage parts by status (request RTV, RTV's pending, shipments pending, vendor pick up & ticket #).
Education and/or Experience:
- One year certificate from college or technical school
- OR three (3) to six (6) months related experience and/or training
- OR equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to write simple correspondence.
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees.
- Must have knowledge of Epicor (or equivalent enterprise software) MS Word, Excel and MS Outlook.
- Must be able to lift and/or move 25 to 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and depth perception.
