JOB SUMMARY:The QA Auditor conducts internal audits to verify compliance with HAECO Americas ("HAECO"), FAA, and customer policies and procedures. The QA Auditor is also responsible to conduct vendor audits.JOB DUTIES:1. Conduct routine facility audits and general surveillance to verify compliance with HAECO, FAA, and customer approved policies and procedures. Identify systemic problems with respect to these policies and procedures.2. Conduct on-site audits and inspections of vendors to ensure the vendor meets HAECO and FAA quality standards.3. Conduct periodic audits of receiving discrepancies to ensure continued quality of vendor products.4. Maintain adequate records of discrepancies noted and corrective action taken. Perform follow-up audits as needed.5. Place emphasis on recurring problems as assigned.6. Be constantly aware of RSM/QCM, safety and operating procedure violations.7. Follow all applicable specifications to accomplish a specific task.8. Maintain a clean and safe working environment.9. Follow all safety procedures and specifications.10. Execute all required paperwork in connection with assigned normal duties.11. Assist other employees in the performance of their job assignments through coaching, counseling, and guidance.12. Interface effectively with members of management, other departments, and co-workers.13. Be authorized to act on behalf of the repair station.SECONDARY DUTIES:1. Perform other work as instructed by the Manager Quality Assurance, if qualified.2. Act as a Manager Quality Assurance when required and if qualified for the position.JOB QUALIFICATIONS:MINIMUM:1. High School diploma or equivalent.2. Ability to proficiently use a computer including MicrosoftWord, Excel, and Outlook.3. A thorough understanding of FAR parts 21, 25, 43, 65, 91, 121,125, 129, and 145.4. A thorough understanding of EASA 145 rule.5. Must be able to travel 15% for domestic and possess a validdriver's license.6. Five (5) or more years experience as an aircraft mechanic orInspector on heavy transport category aircraft.7. Read, write, speak, and understand the English language.PREFERRED:1. Professional Certification as an auditor (Certified QualityAuditor, for example)2. Possess a valid passport for international travel.3. Knowledge of the AS9100C Certification Program.4. FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certificate.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:1. Subject to noise in excess of 85 dB2. Be able to bend, stoop, kneel, and/or stand for prolonged periods of time and climb ladders and/or service stands.3. Normal or corrected hearing.4. Capable of lifting fifty (50) pounds.5. Minimum visual acuity of 20/40 corrected.6. Able to work extended shifts to complete tasks.n.
