Quality Associate Position – MQA
Dietary supplement firm located in Arlington Heights, IL (moving to Lincolnshire, IL mid 2024) is seeking an intelligent, energetic, highly motivated and friendly professional who have a strong interest in a career in Quality, health, and/or science. An ideal candidate will have a Bachelors degree in Science (Biology, Chemistry, Food Science, Nutrition or Quality Assurance, etc), competency with computers, and excellent communications skills.
- Help maintain and abide by FDA current Good Manufacturing Practices and company SOPs.
- Provide quality oversight and review of applicable packaging operations to assure quality of finished products produced.
- Real-time batch record review, approval and release.
- Sample and review incoming bulk material.
- Control current and incoming label stock; maintain label inventory.
- Evaluate and refurbish returned product as necessary.
- Assist in investigating and performing write-ups of deviations, OOS, and non-conformance reports.
- Perform inter-departmental tasks as solicited.
- Overtime needed occasionally
- Ability to stand for extended period of time
- Ability to lift, tug or pull 30-50 lbs.
Positions Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Health Sciences, Biology, Quality Assurance, Chemistry, Public Health, Food Science or Nutrition
- No experience necessary, however, previous Quality, Food Mfg. Or Nutrition experience is a plus. New graduates will be considered.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Computer competency, with emphasis on Microsoft Word and Excel.
